Its been a lil while since I've even touched this....myspace took its place. Shocking, I know. I decided to post because Jeremy
posted something a few days ago. Only reason. I promise. You should feel special Jeremy.

I have a house. I just signed the lease today. I get to move in 2 weeks!

Simone is doing well, she got a new playmate today. I don't think she likes him yet, he's just a lil bit bigger than her.

I have been working my ass off lately. Right now, I work for GoodWill...you're thinking the clothes store. False. I'm actually working with the volunteer part helping Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims. Its had its ups and downs. Right now I'm designing a website for them. Should been interesting.

I haven't done anything super exciting lately...Other than get that house. So yeah....back in six months.

Wow, two posts in one month. Amazing....

Anyways, I finally have power back. After Rita struck, we lost power for about a week. It sucked but we lived. Lots of bonding between all of us neighbors. It was great.

We had water, which was really nice. Who needs hot water for showers anyways when its 110ºF outside and there isn't any air conditioning?

I have a job at the SHACK. Student Help Assisting Computer Knowledge. I'm a computer tech and I don't usually work the phones because I don't know enough about fixing things other than virus infected laptops yet. I love it though, the people up here are awesome. So yeah, I think thats all the new stuff.

Ok, what do we think?

Rain Boots

Now keep in mind that it rains all winter in Texas and I'll be walking to school every day. In the rain. And no one else at SFA will have them. So...what do we think?

GUESS WHAT!! I'm alive!!!

Bummer huh?

Anyways, I have about five more weeks until school starts, three weeks til I go home, and 19, YES, 19 days until my court date which will offically begin the thirty day waiting period until I am a real person.

My ring tone is currently "Boogie Back To Texas" by Asleep at the Wheel. I want my mom, lol. Oh, yeah, Mum is married, his name is James, he's a good guy. Any critical remarks about my mother will NOT be tolerated so if you are gonna say anything then it had better be nice. Besides, she is happy, he treats her right and he is good to her kids.

This semester I have a theory of football class and a dance class, should be interesting as i've never taken anything even close to sports and i've never danced in my life, except in the kitchen when no one is here ;)

I have an apartment, with my older brother. My OWN room, omgoodness, so exciting! Its about 1/2 a block from the school so I'll have no excuses when I'm late for my 8:00 AM class, but then I'll have no trouble walking home at 2:00 in the morning either so it all evens out.

I think thats everything....I'll be back to post again in 3 months *grins*

Nacogdoches - Griffith Hall - 3rd Floor - A female resident assistant jumped out of her window after playing with a Ouija board. Her spirit is said to Haunt the floor. The lights in the community shower flicker at the same time every night which is said to be the time she died. Residents have reported seeing a girl at the end of the hall in tattered clothes and when they look back she is gone. Also, around 2AM every night, people on the South wing here footsteps running by. One resident has reported watching out the peephole and seeing no one but feeling a gust of air rush under her door as if someone had ran by. - Febuary 2005 Update: no longer used as a dorm, but a women's dorm at one time

Nacogdoches - SFA Campus - Mays Hall 11 - Before the building was a dormitory, it was a hospital, with a morgue in the basement. On the other end of the building is a deep, ruined bomb shelter from the early 40s ar 50s. In the basement is a very negative feeling, very hard to describe. It is usually locked, but occasionally residents break in and wander around. It is mild there though. The bomb shelter has been locked for years but last year was broken into. Recently we discovered what appears to be a false wall in there, because the lining on the wall ends (no one noticed before because of the lighting and the junk all over the floor).. The negative feeling from the basement is present in the bomb shelter too, but grows as you near the false wall. Dorm residents are curious to explore but don't want to get caught. No one knows any specific stories, but we all speculate it would have to deal with someone dying in one fo the hospitalrooms. No ideas about what's behind the false wall, though. - Febuary 2005 Correction:there was never a morgue. The first floor of the original wing was the campus clinic which did have a couple of overnight observation rooms, but the city hospital was (and still is) less than half a mile away and the campus clinic was never used for long term care. The clinic closed when the "short wing" was built in the 60's, and the clinic was renovated into rooms (which is why those rooms resemble the short wing rooms more than the rooms above. The false wall in the bomb shelter and it was a bomb shelter at one time it still had emergency rations (not sure if they are still there) covers an alcolve that to hold air filtration gear. A shaft behind the wall runs into the main basement.

Nacogdoches - Stephen F. Austin State University - The Theater It has been said that in the construction of the theater a worker died and has been haunting the place since. The spirit has killed a professor there.

Nacogdoches - Stephen F. Austin State University - Wilson Hall building # 13 - Reports of stereos will turn themselves on, speakers will increase in volume until they blow, chairs will move themselves, books will re-arrange themselves, and apparitions.

Nacogdoches - Sterne-Hoya House - A former housekeeper reports feeling a gentle pressure on every inch of her body and suddenly felt like the room was spinning. She could feel a happy presence. It went away as she descended the stairs but she seldom entered the attic after that and didn't clean the house much longer. Possibly the children of the house. But in the cellar the feeling was more negative.

Nacogdoches - Turner Fine Arts Auditorium - "Chester" haunts the theater building on the Stephen F. Austin University campus. Reputed to be the ghost of the architect who died before the building's completion--some think the blueprints were misinterpreted and the building was erected backwards. Other people believe that "Chester" is the ghost of a former drama student. He has been seen as a face on a stage curtain and even once appeared onstage as an extra ghost in a play in the 1960's. Students have reported cold spots and strange noises in the halls of the building. November 2003 update/correction: Chester was the architect of the building. When learning his plans were set backwards, he killed himself in disgrace. Chester was seen originally in a photo of the original theatre cast of Hamlet. With the actor playing the "ghost" in Hamlet sick, the director found the only person who knew the lines. When the cast picture was taken that night, only a faint glow comes from where the ghost portraying the character was standing. Members were dumbfounded. Also, a spiritual team has done readings within the building and found a mediocre feeling within the halls but a strong feeling within the theatre itself.

Yup....thats my school O_O

My schedule next semester is pretty kewl. I'm taking Chemistry (blah), Honors' English (too much work), Math (ewwwwwww), Criminal Law (w00t!), and Theory of Football. That last one should be pretty kewl, except for the fact that its an 8:00 o'clock class, thats gonna suck. I won't have any ag classes, thats sad. I'll miss everyone in the ag department.

I have my activation test for my sorority this week, that means I should prolly study sometime...like starting tonight. I have two other tests too.

Finals are in a week, all my tests are on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

So yeah, its only been a couple weeks since my last post that was the only one for a couple months. Shush Alex :P

I really don't have anything interesting to write about.

I worked in the nursery today at church. That was fun. Little kids are so adorable. I can't wait til Kelso is a little bit bigger, he's already so sweet and he's starting to walk *cheers* .

School is going pretty ok, its too much work but I made the National Dean's List. I just have to send that form back in o_O Philosophy class is great, we all get to argue in there. My prof was shocked that I am just a freshman, said i seemed more mature.

I'm almost done rushing. I think that was invented by chicks who just wanted to put other girls thru tons of mental pain by making them learn insignificant facts but only 2 more weeks. I can make it. Thats what I have to tell myself when I'm working out or tanning too....*shifty eyes*

Mmk, thats all I can think of. *runs away*

So I'm rushing Sigma Alpha this week. Its a professional sorority that has a chapter at my university. Professional sororities are like way different from social sororities so shut it! The chapter here is a Christian based group so that's like really kewl. I think I will really enjoy it. The girls seem totally awesome.

I'm also joining the School of Honors here. If I can get 25 credits in honor classes, I will get a second diploma that would look great on any resume. Some of the honor classes also count as double credit. For example, I'm going to take honors english next fall. Instead of having to take two semesters of english, I will get all six credits and I will only have to take three hours.

Something else happened that I was gonna blog about...it totally just left me though. Bleh, I hate that. Oh well....

I have two tests this week, two tests next week. I think I did really well on my math test last week. Zoology lab is gonna kill me but I will make it somehow. I have some intense studying coming up. >_<

Anyways, its about time I blogged again. I hope you all have a marvelous day tomorrow. God bless!!
